Brisbane Celebrates Pride

This month has been a big shift in the weather. It is rainy, cool, and feels more like Whidbey in summer. That said, having had a year of summer weather both in the US and Brisbane, I am now perpetually cold and continually dream of big scarves and heavy coats. While it is supposed to be the dry season, we have experienced quite a bit of rain. This has had some silver linings. Our lemon tree is about to burst into bloom (it must be confused), and there are consistently spectacular rainbows in the sky. Below is a taste.

And because rainbows are not the only things I look at, I will include a few more images.

I volunteered with Brissie to Bay- a bike ride in support of MS. I convinced Dave to join me at my marshalling point.

A 1942(?) newspaper article that aptly describes my understanding of American football.

Dave and I took a long walk in the Roma Street Parklands.

Extensive trails through varied flora.

Green in a city.

Dave in the Ponytail Palms.

Aloe!

One of the many fountains!

Trumpets.

Orange.

Fun colours and shapes.

Textures and patterns.

Proof of Autumn.

Then we stopped by the finished mural.
