Well, today is the day. Most of you will know what I am talking about. But for those who do not today is the day Sarah and I take our first huge step towards moving. Expect picture about that to follow, hopefully in a more timely fashion than this post. Enough about the future on to the Update.
We pick up with our intrepid adventures after Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Not pictured is your vehicular sprint across the great mid of this country. Not much to see here, probably lots to see but we were not interested.
We did notable stop for Jerk Chicken in Davenport, Iowa. If you are ever in Davenport, I would highly recommend http://zekesislandcafe.com.
Once in the Midwest, we took small day trips here and there.

On the last day of the trek we got up way before dawn and hike to this viewpoint overlooking Lake Atitlan.
I blocked out the exact time, it was so early. We watched an amazing sun rise.

The last part of our trip and a quick jaunt up to the north to visit the Mayan ruins in Tikal National Park. We spent three days and two nights there, before jetting out of the country.
