Classes are drawing nearer and details are emerging! I will take four classes- Turkish, Ancient Greek, Constantinople 330-1453, and Anatolian Civilizations III (Late Roman-Byzantine). For a minute I was contemplating a fifth- Archeology Methods & Theory- but thanks to some second year students I have been advised to wait. Sarah Aldrich Koç University, Rumelifeneri Yolu 34450 Sariyer Istanbul Turkey On Tuesday we had an orientation that encompassed details such as library accounts, computers, health insurance, etc. That was followed by a very nice dinner for graduate students and a live Cuban band! There was plenty of dancing (mostly by individuals in my department). Things are progressing well, but I am ready to get into the classes and studying and set up a routine. More pictures next time.
