I apologize for the pictures on their sides, but at this point I dont know how much I can do without stealing my friends computer for the entire night. The red lanterns hanging in the trees are in celebration of Tet (the new year) for which I will go home with my roommate Thu (seen in the picture with me) The building was just one that fascinated me. We don't have many like it in America and the picture doesn't do it justice. The building behind the fence is one of the schools we volunteered at, picking up garbage and clearing their playground (if you could call it that) of vegetation. Motorbikes again, I figure its a pretty significant part of life here and one picture does not do justice of how many there actually are. Then of course we have the picture of the beach. We spent two days here and I got sufficiently burnt. Great fun. Tons and tons of windsurfers and kite boarding took place in the afternoons right where that picture was taken. The picture of the harbor is of traditional Vietnamese fishing boats. Although you cannot see it in the picture, they are very brightly painted. And lastly there is the dunes we went to. An experience I am not likely to forget. Because I wouldn't buy a ride down the dunes on a plastic sled I was verbally harassed and cursed at by approximately twenty nine year olds. Aside from all of this, life is still amazing, classes are getting serious, and the days are full.
